A beach community at heart, Worcester County sits at the easternmost point of Maryland where life moves a little bit slower. This region is deeply rooted in history, apparent with the incredible local architecture of 100-year-old homes and old-town atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that one can’t quite envision until they spend time there. Located just south of Delaware, Worcester County is fairly removed from the hustle and bustle of the major metropolitan areas of Baltimore and Washington, DC, making way for a life that moves at your own pace.

According to statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, the population of Worcester County was just more than 51,600 throughout the 695 square miles of land. And for those individuals who work, they typically stay within the county limits to do so, as both Baltimore and Washington, DC are roughly a three-hour’s drive.
